Blogger ate my comment.

When I think of Obama or Clinton becoming president, I am reminded of the Alien vs. Predator film slogan: Whoever wins, we lose.

That said, I do NOT like McCain. I find myself in the same boat as FTN, and don't know what I'm going to end up doing come election time.Therese in Heavenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13607519856275927706noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31278044.post-49713411563018879112008-05-07T15:38:00.000-04:002008-05-07T15:38:00.000-04:00Ron Paul makes a certain amount of sense. As the years have gone by, my beliefs have become scattered in a much broad-(er) range and I find myself not agreeing and being more and more turned off by all parties. It's such a personal let down as we go through this campaign.. I'm torn.

I'd definitely vote for FTN, though.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31278044.post-47400353658430004692008-05-06T10:57:00.000-04:002008-05-06T10:57:00.000-04:00I suppose I could occasionally classify myself as ...I suppose I could occasionally classify myself as a libertarian, at least to the point where I believe that the government isn't the solution to all of our problems, and offers of money for everyone is just a cheap way to pander for votes.

Republicans used to be for less government, but I don't see that a whole lot anymore. I'm all for social activism, but I generally seem to disagree with how nearly all political Democrats want to go about it (which often comes down to "take money from person A and give it to persons B and C").

Sadly, I have trouble finding ANY politician with beliefs close to my own. Maybe I should just run off and join the Ron Paul camp.FTNhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00863217400079842687noreply@blogger.com
