My two favorite covers are Tom Jones doing "Burning Down The House" and, coincidentally enough, Talking Heads version of "Take Me To The River." I admire the creativity which results in someone being able to take a well-known song and completely twist it; I loathe covers which don't reinvent the song. Another cover which is hard (due to copyright enforcement) to find, but irresistably wacky and amazingly creative is that version of "Stairway To Heaven" sung to the tune of the Gilligan's Island theme.Drunken Housewifehttp://www.drunkenhousewife.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31278044.post-44028253511933799172009-09-08T20:33:23.486-04:002009-09-08T20:33:23.486-04:00Mensa is a great idea. I also think you should try to get periodic massages; I seem to remember you enjoyed one at least once... it's a wonderful stress reliever and a partial solution to the touch thing.

I love hearing these updates, because you are so productive and moving forward in so many areas of your life. When this blog started, it was fascinating as (don't take this the wrong way) a smart person in a trainwreck sort of situation, but you were working so hard and so earnestly on things, and you've done so much. It's amazing what you've accomplished in the big areas of life over the last two years... exponential scale, Richter scale growth (meanwhile what have I accomplished? Not much, my friend, not much).Drunken Housewifehttp://www.drunkenhousewife.comnoreply@blogger.com
