Since the talk is through IM, all of the people are home with the spouses and no one is violating any marital vows. I mean, this is TALK, not cyber sex. And this talk is allowing venting and support to help relieve pressure on the spouse that wants less talk. So all are getting their needs met. If you and I were the same gender then there would have been no issue here. But why all the jealousy or insecurity? I'm asking because I have to be careful here too about the same thing.

(2) I'm tryhing to be optimistic about both of our marriages and am hoping that in this instance the jealousy is connected to a desire by our spouses to hold onto something they value, such as us and our marriages. And maybe their concerns are a sign that they acknowledge that there are problems in the marriage that warrant concern and hopefully fixing together.

By the way, my analytical side is never around for any of the fun times or during sex. I would suggest you always 'throw the inner overanalyst in the closet' for those times, and also when your wife needs to talk. If she has this in common with my husband too, then she may also like to just be heard and receive affirmation from you with no analysis or real input. My spouse needs this often and relaxes a lot when this is easy to obtain regularly from me.

Good luck!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31278044.post-1155308711629045472006-08-11T11:05:00.000-04:002006-08-11T11:05:00.000-04:00All I have to say is awesome babe!!!
